UK Grammy-nominee Elderbrook Headlines Bowery Ballroom

Last Saturday, Bowery Ballroom packed out for a special night of live electronic music courtesy of Grammy-nominated renaissance man Elderbrook.

While it has only been 4 years since the release of his first EP, he has won over many hearts around the world with his ultra smooth vocals and his catchy, unique instrumentals ranging from relaxing poolside synth rhythms to hard hitting stomp-around 808 beats and big room bass lines.

Part of Elderbrook’s sweeping appeal to the masses stems from his collaborations and re-releases of songs in various iterations. His top single at the moment “Something About You” (feat. Rudimental) has garnered an impressive 17 million global streams, and has been re-released on YouTube as a [Chill Mix], reaching over 1 million views in less than a month. Elderbrook’s noteworthy collaborations include CamelPhat’s top spotify streamed track “Cola”- securing just shy of 149 million streams on Spotify following its multi year run as a staple summer house anthem.

The song, which propelled Elderbrook far beyond his own fan’s ears, has been remixed by legendary house and EDM producers such as ZHU, Franky Rizardo, Robin Schulz, and Kenneth Bager who also wanted a piece of the “summer anthem” pie.

With his ever expanding street cred in the electronic music scene combined with his natural talent and superb ear for blending genres, Elderbrook is a definite go-to show, as long as you can score tickets before they sell out.

Elderbrook was supported by Brooklyn, NY based half beach rock / half electronic indie band CAFUNÉ. With equally smooth vocals and playful tenacity, lead vocalist Sedona Schat made quick work of their opening song and drew the crowd in for a well rounded thirty-minute set, complete with an unreleased ballad.
