BET is bringing the highly-anticipated 2017 Soul Train Awards to your TV screen
BET Presents: 2017 Soul Train Awards, filmed on November 5 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, will air on BET and BET HER on November 26 at 8PM ET.
The annual Soul Train Awards recognized the best in Soul, R&B and Hip-Hop from legends to the next generation.
The celebration, hosted by the godmother of soul, Erykah Badu, featured lineup of performances by established artists such as Toni Braxton, SWV, Tamar Braxton, 112, Tank, Kirk Franklin, and Method Man, as well as the new generation artists including Keyshia Cole, Daniel Caesar, DVSN, Luke James, and Ro James.
The awards were presented by Anthony Anderson, Bell Biv Devoe, Deon Cole, Lil Rel Howery, Robin Thede and Sevyn Streeter.
Multi-hyphenate Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Toni Braxton received the Legend Award and Grammy Award-Nominated female R&B trio SWV was honored with the third annual Lady of Soul Award.
The nominees for 2017 Soul Train Awards span across 12 categories, with Solange leading with seven nominations, Bruno Mars with six and DJ Khaled, Rihanna, Bryson Tiller, Khalid and SZA who will also receive multiple nominations this year.
