Forget Peppermint Mochas. SiriusXM had us “sippin’ Mai Tais” with Train and Skylar Grey this icy Tuesday afternoon, as part of “Dial Up the Moment”.
“Dial Up the Moment” is SiriusXM’s month- long experiential program launched in November. It features pop- up performances from your favorite artists in unexpected locations. Past performances have included John Legend at the Union Station with a children’s choir.
This Tuesday’s performance, taking place at The Bean coffee shop on 3rdAvenue, presented Train (“Hey, Soul Sister), and Skylar Grey (“Love The Way You Lie” songwriter), and their new single together “Mai Tais”. The Bean became a concert hall with a packed audience singing along to popular tunes. Jim Ryan, host of SiriusXM’s The Pulse was there to introduce the artists, and to offer secret surprise gifts to several lucky audience members after the show.
