Eating at a Las Vegas buffet is a ritual that one must experience. If you haven’t, you’re missing out on Vegas’s fun and distinct buffet culture that is still a major attraction for both visitors and locals travelling to the Strip. There’s numerous all-you-can-eat buffets, but the big question is, which one is worth your hard earned money?
The Wicked Spoon buffet at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is absolutely rewarding and a far superior experience than other buffets in Sin City. They have the most elaborate spreads of delicious, high-quality food that caters to all palates. One important caveat to note though, the hotel only serves a morning to midday buffet, but their eclectic offerings will satisfy all cravings with their wide-ranging menu. Open daily from 8am to 2pm, Wicked Spoon costs $49.99 per person on weekdays and $54.99 on weekends and holidays.

Diners have the opportunity to scarf down plates of a wide variety of cuisine and imaginative dishes alongside traditional staples—making it the perfect spot for passionate foodies seeking both comfort and special culinary cooking. From steamed crab legs, French toast, spiced chicken and waffle, an egg station, southern shrimp and grits, French crepes, and buttermilk pancakes to spicy tuna rolls, shrimp tempura rolls, green curry mussels, beef marrow bones, and a carving station offering roasted striploin, these are just a few dishes. The selection is really endless.
Unlike other buffets, the food at the Wicked Spoon is served in compact ramekins and metal pans that hold individual portion sizes. Even though the portions are smaller, you have more room in your tummy to indulge and taste more food. It’s about quality of quantity, and most importantly, the personal portions are designed to reduce food waste. Teams of highly talented master chefs are working hard to make sure the buffet offers an unparalleled dining experience with their dishes, have crafted beautifully and meticulously works of art and are ready to be devoured. As for soft drinks and juices, they are included in the meal. But for alcoholic beverages, bottomless Mimosas, Champagne, Bloody Mary’s or Bud Light Draft packages are available for an additional $30 per person.

The space of the Wicked Spoon is not the biggest buffet in town, but it is still grand and sprawling with seven stations that serve over 100 different types of dishes. There’s also a dessert station with over 25 types of yummy sweets. The space is large and inviting and can seat some hundreds of people at a time. The Knockturnal visited The Wicked Spoon recently for a tasting, and the scene was bustling with hungry guests craving quality and variety in a no-fuss but elevated setting. The service was stellar and every guest was content.
With its mix of top quality, familiar staples and imaginative seasonal dishes, the Wicked Spoon buffet is an only-in-Vegas dining experience you can’t miss. Reservations are strongly recommended in order to secure a table and to avoid standing in line for hours. Make one now to feast like royalty!
