‘The Weeknd Presents: Starboy’ will be releasing on June 13th.
The Weeknd will be releasing his first-ever graphic novel in collaboration with Marvel Comics. The Weeknd Presents: Starboy’s inaugural issue will be available on June 13th.
Based on the artist’s Grammy Award-winning double-platinum 2016 track Starboy, the story follows the titular hero as he goes toe-to-toe against cannibalistic criminal mastermind Jack “The Chef” Smiley to save Alphatron. Speaking to his singular aesthetic and cinematic vision, The Weeknd personally penned the story alongside La Mar Taylor, and Christos Gate, while Eric Nguyen and Guru-eFX brought the art to life.
