Every year, KCON brings fans together to celebrate Korean culture, and this time, we joined the excitement in Los Angeles!
Last weekend, the sensational K-pop boy group Stray Kids did something quite unheard of in the industry by selling out two stadium shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, an experience we were delighted to be part of.
It was a night that was more than two years in the making. After their explosive concert back in January 2020, at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Stray Kids returned. They came back to the tri-state area to kick off the US leg of their 2nd World Tour “MANIAC” at Newark’s Prudential Center.
K-pop has begun to sweep the world as the “Hallyu wave” or “Korean wave” (the idea that South Korean pop culture has grown in prominence to become a major driver of global pop culture) has finally cemented its place in the west.
It has been eight months since Stray Kids have been back in the states, but on January 29, 2020, they took over the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
