In today’s world, it seems like we’re all in constant need of a reminder to slow down and take life for what it is. This is a thought that occurs to Eddie, the main protagonist in the all new mini series, The Now. The show opens up so many important conversations regarding mental health, and takes viewers on an intricate journey about their own sense of self. Starring in the series as Coop, O’shea Jackson Jr. takes on the role of an incredible friend that goes to show just how much our everyday actions can affect the people who love and care about us. The mix of a brilliant cast and incredible writing that will make any viewer rethink their own path of life creates a totally unique TV event that is sure to inspire. Jackson is no stranger to incredible performances, and though this is a unique role, he absolutely shines in it with his grace and charisma. Viewers will surely fall in love with Coop and even learn a lesson or two from him in the process. We had the opportunity to sit down with O’shea to talk about the series and his character, check out our full conversation above!

Libertine’s FW runway was the place to watch for cool-kid inspiration for the upcoming season.
Embellished with yellow and blue fluorescent light, the stage floor shone with brilliance.
This Wednesday, 2(x)ist debuted its Spring Summer Collection at the Skylight Modern in New York. The entire production of the show was a celebration, with it’s launch of women’s along with an accessories collection.
The runway started with linear and modern patterns with geometric shapes in monochrome, a lot of blacks, whites and grays with brights pops of neon. Gradually transitioning from Spring-to-Summer, the silhouettes were full out bright and sun bleached with colorful solids and army greens. Oiled up men walked through the runway barefoot with barely anything on in intimates some made from see through mesh, while the women’s pieces were much less, exciting?, with a basic line of workout clothes that emulated a friendly “girl next door”. But that being said, we all know who 2(x)ist is marketed towards so maybe it’s not that surprising. If you wanted a show glorifying beautiful women maybe wait for the life-sized wings and bejeweled lingerie?
Alongside the intimates was the new collection of active bags, made from nylons and camo canvas to scuba fabric with hot color zippers catering to the active lifestyle.
We also had a chance to talk backstage one on one with Jason Scarlatti, the creative director of 2(x)ist, about the new collection:
“It’s our 25th year anniversary, it’s really just about our evolution as a brand and how we started as an underwear brand and now we’ve grown into a lifestyle brand. It’s about great comfort and fit and being fashion forward. We have more amazing products to offer our consumer and now his counterpart. Going forward we’ll be growing and branching out into new categories, I think for both men’s and women’s it’s about offering fashion, color, and new silhouettes and offering fashion forward pieces that make you go “I have to have that.”
In addition to the beautiful madness of men changing underwear backstage, 2(x)ist also held an after-party upstairs from the show venue where guests enjoyed an open bar and company of the runway models.
