American Express, known for its attention to detail and renowned customer service, launched its first ever Platinum House internationally, setting up shop in central London. The four-day pop up started this past Thursday, September 13, as guests were whisked into the lobby, which formerly housed Central Saint Martins College.
The event included array of curated experiences for Platinum card members including specialty cocktails and beverages, as well as hors d’oeuvres catered by London staples, Hakkasan and Duck & Waffle. Opening night treated guests to DJ sets by Kungs and SG Lewis with James Bay holding an intimate performance to cap off the night. Guests paraded their way through several different rooms of which AMEX partnered with brands and London creatives such as Sarah Andelman, creative director of retail concept Colette as well as Jen Rubio, who treated guests to a live art installation wall comprised of Away luggage.
Saturday night ushered in a slightly difference crowd brought to Platinum House by designer Alexa Chung, celebrating the launch of her new collection. Specialty cocktails, appetizers and in house DJ’s treated partygoers to another unforgettable night. American Express truly spared no expense in offering its Platinum cardholders a culmination of events that made for an unforgettable weekend.
