When I think of the perfect guy I think of a man dressed in Grungy Gentleman. Very edgy yet casual, and ready for what ever the day throws his way.
On Thursday July, 14th at the W Hotel in Midtown Manhattan , Grungy Gentleman held a fashion show with over 30 dapper looks.
This Fashion show truly catered to the essence of men. Before the show started the guys were pre-gaming with an open bar, a beautiful DJ playing tunes, and two video game stations. According to Cooper from Hot Topics on The Wendy Williams Show, this years fashion show is a lot bigger than last year, down to the sponsors. This years sponsors were Ugg, Ciroc, Nivea, and Microsoft.
When describing the threads of the evening, dapper was truly an understatement. The overall flow of outfits started from work and trickled all the way down to gym attire. The first few looks were very neutral matching suit sets like, all white, khaki colored, and royal blue suits. The shift in geers (different style) was symbolized by an article of clothing with Grungy Gentleman’s signature six strips.
For example we went from neutral suits to suits with six strips at the bottom of the sleeves, to blazers, then blazers with with six strips on the elbows, to cardigans and shorts. They mixed and matched snap backs with blazers and timberland boots, as well as cardigans and swim trunk styled shorts. Models displayed short sleeve shirts, windbreakers, “three quarter” sleeve shirts with hoody’s, flannel shirts, joggers and varsity joggers. This line is so versatile there were sweat suits that looked business casual.
Over all, Jace Lipstein really nailed this fashion show! There is no doubt that Grungy Gentleman is a seamless lifestyle brand made for every man from the laid back neutral guy to the rebel and even for the trendsetting mogul. After watching this show I want my guys to have a gentle grunge to them. Buy some clothes online at Grungyentleman.com or Grungy Gentleman on Instagram.
