It’s a religion.” (in season 1, episode 14, and no I did not need to look that up), nobody could have predicted how that phrase would go on to describe not only the enduring fan culture of the show itself but the extended body of work by Creator, Writer, and Executive Producer Amy Sherman-Palladino.
