Chlรถe Grace Moretz’s extensive resume of genres will be getting a new addition on October 21st, as she steps into the action packed and incredibly layered role of Flynne Fisher in Scott B SMoth’s The Peripheral. It follows Chloe’s Flynn, who lives in the rural American South, working at the local 3D printing shop, while earning much-needed extra money playing VR games for rich people.ย One night she dons a headset and finds herself in futuristic Londonโa sleek and mysterious world, alluringly different from her own hardscrabble existence.ย But this isnโt like any game sheโs ever played before:ย Flynne begins to realize it isnโt virtual realityโฆ itโs real.ย Someone in London, seventy years in the future, has found a way to open a door to Flynneโs world.ย And as utterly beguiling as London isโฆ itโs also dangerous.ย As Flynne searches to discover who has connected their worlds, and for what purpose, her presence here sets dangerous forces into motionโฆforces intent on destroying Flynne and her family in her own world.
