4:00 a.m. is what I call dead time. It’s not quite the morning and not quite the night. It’s pitch black, always. And it is the time that the first Boston Calling guest got in line on Sunday morning (or is it Saturday night?) for Day 3 of the festival.

Senseless Optimism is both the name of an opening band, and the element I ride into Boston Calling with on Day 2. And I do mean ride: I cruise in on a Blue Bike for Day 2.
Like all epic days, this one starts with glitter. It is scattered on shoulders and faces, hopefully along with sunscreen, on young bus patrons smushed together traveling between Brighton and the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston.

Last Friday, I had the pleasure of attending the Bad Bunny concert, and it was an unforgettable experience. I arrived at 8 PM and the lines outside of Barclays Center went on for at least two blocks.

Concert series; headlined by Billboard award-winner Jack Harlow, Grammy-nominated rapper Latto, and special performances by hip-hop legend 2 Chainz and “Lil Boo Thang” hitmaker Paul Russell.
Last Sunday, July 9th, singer-songwriter and performer MAX hit the stage with charm and grace at Long Island’s Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, NY. MAX stole the spotlight, performing a high-energy set as one of the opening acts for beloved boyband Big Time Rush’s highly anticipated Can’t Get Enough Tour.
In advance of her debut album, Messy, Olivia Dean played a show at New York City’s infamous Le Poisson Rouge, in the heart of the West Village, on the 15th of June. This show marked a significant milestone for the up-and-coming artist, as the performance was her first in the United States.
