Swarovski celebrates 120 years!
Swarovski put together a unique two-day lunch event during Paris Fashion Week to celebrate the global release of a new publication. Rizzoli brings this publication to us in celebration of Swarovski’s 120th anniversary, as well as the World Jewelry Facets 2015 exhibition. The two- day retrospective exhibition was held at Salons France- Amériques 9 Avenue Franklin D. Roosevelt. It showed the past, present, and future of the 120-year-old crystal house in a multi faceted world coexisting in one space. Four different areas each focused on a different creative industry; fashion, jewelry, performance, and design.
The jewelry section concentrated on the World Jewelry Facets, which is a creative platform of the best contemporary fashion jewelry design. This exhibit and cocktail reception also served the purpose of presenting the richness of Swarovski’s history to the most influential crowd across all creative industries. The ephemeral exhibit included crystallized dresses from some of the world’s top fashion powerhouses, such as Christian Dior, Valentino, Givenchy, Fendi, Alexander McQueen and many more. The reception on Wednesday evening featured a special performance from singer Caroline Vreeland, the great granddaughter of fashion icon Diana Vreeland.
Guest included Nadja Swatovski, Caroline Vreeland, Izabel Goulart, Angela Lindvall, Anna Brewster, Marisa Brenson, Chantal Thomas, Elena Perminova, Leigh Lezark, Ellen Von Unwerth, Eddie Borgo, and many more.
