Suicide Squad’s International Trailer

The year of superheroes has begun, but the DC cinematic universe gives another look at the other side of the coin, the super villains.

Since the news hit of Suicide Squad being made into a movie, fans have intensively waited for any news that comes their way. With first look posters, sneak peeks, and an official trailer, the public has finally seen the squad all together. But now the Internet is a buzz with the introduction of the movie’s first international trailer. Some say there is new content on the trailer, while others point out it is the same as the official trailer that was released in the United States in January. The trailer is still set against the tantalizing pace of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, but now gives more looks at Will Smith’s Deadshot, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s Killer Croc, but more importantly the Joker.

Jared Leto’s Joker has conjured much of the public craze after the first trailer depicted the actor’s characterization, along with a haunting laugh. The new trailer features the villain in a more centralized way, which gives fans a hope that the maniacal man isn’t just a side character in the movie. Even though the Joker is one of DC’s main villains, the story of Suicide Squad focuses on the motley crew of former villains sent to fight other villains that threaten the city.

Along with the trailer new photos have been released that show the crew together, but nothing much has been revealed. With a lot of the focus centering on Snyder’s recent release of Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, the other DC films coming out have taken the back seat. However with the front-runner of the DCU officially out, and being judged by critics and fans alike, it is time for the marketing push for the Suicide Squad, so fans are on the lookout.
