John Boyega’s natural charm and swagger is on full display in this behind-the-scene’s clip of Star Wars: Last Jedi
Few could have imagined that nearly forty years later, Star Wars would become as big as it has. From the endless tie-in merchandise to the fandom that has changed popular film culture, George Lucas’ baby has evolved into a behemoth of cinematic lore. Now, it appears that that lore is set to continue to grow, with an additional four films slated to be released in the upcoming years. From an untitled anthology movie to a standalone Han Solo film, LucasFilm has taken a page out of the Marvel Studios book and begun exploring every and all sides of the Star Wars universe. And fans couldn’t be happier.
Stars Wars: The Last Jedi continues the Skywalker saga, detailing the harrowing adventurism and epic heroism of a group that is fighting tooth and nail against the Dark Side. Exploring the ancient mysteries of the Force, shocking discoveries await our timeless heroes in their newest episode. Wanting to give die hard devotees of the franchise something to chew over until the film’s release later this year, LucasFilm has released some spellbinding behind-the-scenes footage of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Debuting at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California, the footage showcases jaw-dropping shots, exciting stunts, and a myriad of characters old and new.
With a doozy of stellar cast members, the newest Star Wars film looks to be one of the most exciting entries yet. Coupled with the attachment of director Rian Johnson–who’s direction of Breaking Bad‘s “Ozymandias” episode is heralded as one of the best of the revered series and perhaps even in television history–makes for good news for Star Wars aficionados who will be eager to see the film live up to expectation.
