Snakehips, best known for their track “All My Friends” featuring Tinashe and Chance the Rapper, released “Falling” on Soundcloud.
The electronic/R&B music duo shared a new track from their EP, All My Friends. Snakehips has already released other songs from the EP, including “Dimelo” featuring Tory Lanez and “Money on Me” featuring Anderson Paak. “Falling,” which features London singer Malika, has an old-school R&B sound with elements of jazz as well as electronic music—the epitome of a Snakehips track.
In an e-mail interview with The Fader, Snakehips said, “With ‘Falling,’ we felt like making a more classic-sounding soul [and] R&B record. We used to use big samples a lot in our beats so it was cool to go back to that style, and Malika’s voice worked so good with the vibe.”
