This Saturday, December 1st from 10 pm to 4 am, come ready to celebrate best friends and models, Olivia Anakwe and Meghan Takahashi, by supporting their favorite charities at The Paper Box.
All of the proceeds from Shake That, Give Back will go to NUWAY Foundation and Women’s Refugee Commission, both organizations that Olivia and Meghan support respectively. Tickets are $15 pre-sale and $20 at the door.
After meeting on a modeling job during New York Fashion Week, Olivia and Meghan made fast friends. They both share a zeal for life and connecting with people to promote change.
“We want to bring awareness to two causes that we deeply care about in an approachable way for our friends and the community. Shake That, Give Back is just the start of bringing people together to stimulate dialogue past one night, to promote action-taking amongst old friends and new,” said Meghan.
NUWAY Foundation helps transform lives in Nigeria through healthcare, employment opportunity, clean water, and education.
Women’s Refugee Commission aids female refugees by providing reproductive health services, financial empowerment programs, and more.
