SERGIO DAVILA gave his audience a nice change of scenery for his Spring Summer 2016 presentation during New York’s first Men’s fashion week. Held at the lounge/club “PhD” at the Dream Hotel in the Meatpacking district of Manhattan, the venue complimented the tropical themed, relaxed fit garments.
Davila seemed to favor the double breasted blazer this season, done in pastel pinks, blues, and cremes. While the jackets shown featured a more relaxed fit, the trousers and shorts were oddly Thom Browne-esque, which provided an interesting contrast within each outfit. Tee shirts featured tropical prints, and monochromatic prints seemed to compliment the beach themed look.
