Timo Weiland presented their Men’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection on Thursday, July 14th at the Cadillac House for NYFW: Men’s.
The designers behind Timo Weiland “Go Bananas” collection were Timo Weiland, Alan Eckstein, and Donna Kang. The trio partnered with Zenni Optical for the eyewear featured in the collection. Timo Weiland was co-founded in 2010 by Timo Weiland, Alan Eckstein, and Donna Kang and designs both Menswear and Womenswear. The brand’s main focus for the collection is quality and wearability with a variety of fabrics and detailing. The collection featured a variety of hues with a loose and relaxed silhouettes and looks for any occasion. From raincoats to shorts Timo Weiland’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection included perfect transitional clothing. Weiland didn’t shy away from prints or pops of color either, showcasing color-blocking and animal prints on several pieces. While some looks were edgier like 22 with a suede jacket and animal print button down, others were tamer like look 11 with trousers, a button down and sweater. Timo Weiland described their collection as a balance between modern prep and streetwear. Some highlight guests included RJ King, Mayer Hawthorne, and Travis Mills.

The shop will also include curated eyewear in collaboration with Zenni. Other exclusives include curated tabletops in collaboration with Vista Allegre. A fun party followed at Happy Ending featuring sounds by Charlie Klarsfield.
