To celebrate his latest record, ‘Quality Street Music 2,’ DJ Drama hosted an event on Park Avenue.
On Tuesday evening, June 14, DJ Drama gathered a crowd of industry insiders for an intimate listening party of his forthcoming album Quality Street Music 2. During the event hosed by It’s The Real, guests enjoyed complimentary champagne and cocktails sponsored by EFFEN Vodka while waiting for Atlanta-based jock’s arrival.
DJ Drama, with over a decade of experience in the industry, has collaborated with talents such as Chris Brown, 2 Chainz, Jeezy, Young Thug, Meek Mill, Fabolous, Wiz Khalifa and many more. Known for a great insight into the street culture, sometimes called an “ear of the street,” DJ Drama has carved for himself a unique lane in the world of hip hop.
The star of the evening arrived accompanied by no one else but the one and only 50 Cent. 50 easily morphed into evening’s emcee cracking jokes and giving proper introduction to each track. One lucky lady got a quick dance class as well.
When it comes to the upcoming album, Quality Street Music 2, most of the tracks have a lot of smoothness to them. Especially “Wishing” – a collaboration with Chris Brown, Skeme and Lyquin – sounds like a bedroom-ready jam.
Quality Street Music 2 will be released on Friday, July 22nd.
