Sarcone’s Bakery recently collabed with ‘47 Brand for MLB All-Stars weekend.
This beloved South Philly bakery has been serving the neighborhood for more than a century. For two days only on July 13 and 14, the historic bakery on Ninth Street was transformed into an immersive pop-up experience complete with exclusive merchandise, custom apparel stations, and a special menu celebrating some of Philadelphia’s favorite foods.

The collaboration drew crowds of eager fans, with lines forming outside the bakery as visitors waited to get their hands on the limited-edition Sarcone’s x ’47 collection. Once inside, guests received a menu card and could choose from a selection of local favorites, including Sarcone’s cannoli, a slice of tomato pie, a slice of Sicilian pie, or a classic Philly cheesesteak.

The pop-up received an extra boost of excitement when former Phillies star Chase Utley stopped by. The fan favorite posed for photos, greeted visitors, and handed out merchandise, making the experience even more memorable for baseball fans in town for All-Star Week.
While the event celebrated a major national sports moment, it remained firmly rooted in Philadelphia tradition. By partnering with Sarcone’s—widely recognized for the bread that has helped define countless cheesesteaks and sandwiches across the city—’47 found a collaborator that shares its appreciation for heritage, craftsmanship, and community.
For two days, the bakery’s familiar storefront became a must-see event in South Philly, bringing together great food, exclusive merch, and some Phillies nostalgia.
