No tuck is truly everlasting.
Thankfully, there’s RuPaul’s Drag Race Live Untucked Season 2 to capture every moment of the BTS shenanigans of the flagship program’s most show-stopping queens. If the first episode is any indication, this season is gonna be a gumbo of kikis, redemption and…kai kais?

The Flamingo Las Vegas hosts our girls as they headline the latest iteration of the bodacious strip staple. Bosco, Derrick Barry, Kennedy Davenport, Latrice Royale, Lawrence Chaney, Mirage, and Nymphia Wind navigate new personalities in the show, new numbers, cliques and performance anxiety.
This year’s biggest storyline is the addition of the aforementioned Wind, RDR season 16 winner and a fashion queen not known for her live-performance skills. Though I guess her season finale lip-sync does negate everything I just typed.
As Nymphia preps her numbers and successfully ‘no ands’ during an improvisational moment with host Lawrence Cheney, we get to know more about her enthusiasm and insecurities.
The premiere episode screened at production company World of Wonder HQ in the heart of Hollywood with the stars of the show in tow. They were joined by notable extras like Trinity the Tuck and Angeria Paris Van Michaels – both out of drag.

Latrice Royale is the heart of this cast, a beloved three-time competitor on RuPaul’s Drag Race who brings out the best in everyone while reading them respectfully but effectively.
She took the stage at the premiere to whoops and hollers and delivered a rousing performance of ‘This is Me’ from The Greatest Showman. Hugh Jackman can only dream of holding a crowd like Miss Royale.
I ducked out as the DJ set started because, as is the case with every WoW event, a couple exes were in attendance. Buena suerte, and be sure to catch RuPaul’s Drag Race Live Untucked Season 2 only on WoW Presents Plus.
