  • Toronto bread Ruffpup got a lot to say (and do) when it comes to contributing back to the community.

For years he has worked as a social worker helping youth in the greater Toronto area as a true humanitarian but finally living his artistic dream of being a sauce lord and a sought-after model. Ruffpup agrees how much individuals in power of  position need to do to help the young kids have a safer space to express themselves and strive for their dreams. His history in Toronto is no mystery either, nor is it shallow. Being from the ends and scoring gigs like dancer for Rihanna’s ‘Pon De Replay’ music video, which was at the time was being filmed in Toronto, Ruffpup could tell you a few stories of his journey. We had the pleasure to speak to him about what his personal style means to him.

The Knockturnal: Why Modelling?

RuffPup: I model cuz I love clothing I love new clothing looks that comes out I like different looks I like how clothing looks on me I’m into the why I make my shirt sit on me the fit of my pants lol I’m all about detail and clothing has so much that’s why I model.

RuffPup:Modelling and working with cameras inspire me because you get to capture the moment and capture detail in life and all different things that’s going on in the moment.

The Knockturnal: Ok so what it is mean to put someone on to some sauce?

RuffPup: Putting someone on sauce is like showing them how to put there clothes on what brands to rock how to rock them sauce is putting on anything and making it look amazing sauce to me is rocking a $5 shirt but people think it’s a $100 shirt. But everyone has a different opinion which we are allowed to have.
