June 9th marked the inaugural National Rose Day LA event at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu.
As we drove down the PCH with the view of the mountains behind us we knew we were in for an epic time. The awesome location was hidden deep in the Malibu Hills at the beautiful Saddlerock Ranch. So hidden in fact that we had to take a shuttle to the actual location.
This midsummer’s day experience was filled with gourmet food trucks, wine-inspired art installations, and an endless amount of scenic greenery. The event’s featured champagne was Moët & Chandon’s Rosé, with Bertaud Belieu serving as the exclusive wine.
The food curated by Iron Chef Marc Forgione was a delight and the live DJ’s added to the summer vibe. Actors, Instagram Models, and YouTubers were all in attendance getting turnt up to the max.
Celebrity guests included: Jeremy Renner, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ashlee Simpson, Evan Ross, Alessandra Ambrosio, Scott Eastwood, Lana Del Rey, Alexis Knapp, Audrina Partridge, Josh Altman, Heather Altman, Brock O’Hurn, Caroline D’amore, Christa B. Allen, Damian Wayans, Devin Lucien, DJ Alesso, DJ Paul of Three Six Mafia, Donovan Carter, Draya Michele, Emily Van Camp, Gilles Marini, Jennie Garth, Josh Bowman, Keith Bulluck, Michael K. Williams, Nyjah Houston, Rocky Barnes, Ryan Rottman, Scotty Pippen, Scott Evans, Shawn Merriman, Taylor Lautner and Zen Freeman. Top Chef Dakota Weiss was also onsite as part of a collaboration with Sweetfin Poké. In addition, a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales were donated to the event’s charity partner, The Art of Elysium. Guests also enjoyed musical performances by DJ’s Zen Freeman, Devin Lucien, and Caroline D’Amore, while Voss water kept everyone hydrated.
In the end, it felt like we were transported to a movie set, with nature and Rose serving as the perfect muse. It’s good to know romance and elegance still exist! Until next year.
