Now audiences can feel like they are a part of the cast in this new, immersive theatrical dining experience. A specially built performance venue was created at Bourbon Room which was named after the bar in the center of the show. The cast is made up of mostly new faces however, original cast members Nick Cordero and Frankie Grande have reprised their roles as Dennis, the wild bar owner and Franz, the uptight rule regulator. “I honestly think this show is better than any other version of this show, maybe I’m biased but I don’t think so. I think when you come and feel the audience as intimately as you do in this space, you’re going to be like yeah, this is the way the show was meant to be seen,” states Grande. Due to the intimate nature of the venue, the audience and cast become one, “It’ almost a little Rocky Horror where people are calling back and they’re yelling at Franz, kiss her! It’s much more immersive, the audience is involved in the show and I think that’s why it’s so different and fun,” explains cast member Stephanie Renee Wall.

Different it is and the chemistry between the cast is undeniable. “I think everybody was just authentic. There were no games from the beginning. There’s something about rehearsing and you have to expose yourself, show that vulnerability, you have to be accessible. So there’s no room for walls or barriers, you just get to know each other in a real way,” states Regina Levert who plays Justice. Rock of Ages is an explosive musical that gives you a glimpse of what glam rock was in the 80s, featuring music from rock legends such as Journey, Poison, Twisted Sister, Pat Benatar and many more! So, who’s ready to rock?
