The Knockturnal got a chance to preview three products from the limited edition CoverGirl Star Wars Collection. Check our out review below.

CoverGirl SuperSizer Mascara: I tried out the Dark Side Regular Mascara, the eighth mascara out of the ten collectibles available. The ten mascaras are available in either Light Side (waterproof) or Dark Side (Regular) and contain the same color, Very Black Blaze (800). After trying the original, The SuperSizer in very black tres noir, I was a bit disappointed with the Dark Side SuperSizer. I was expecting a lot more volume and longer lashes, but the Dark Side mascara delivered dark lashes with less volume overall, even after several coats. Overall it’s great for a pretty day time mascara.

CoverGirl Lipstick: I tried out Red #30 from the Dark Side Collection and loved it! The red is deep and dark, perfect for fall. The saturated shade is embedded with glitter and definitely attention grabbing. Red #30 instantly brightened up my face and definitely made me want to embrace my Dark Side. The formula instantly hydrated my lips with Shea and Aloe Butters and kept them super soft the rest of the day. Can’t wait to try the other shades.

CoverGirl Star Wars Nail Gloss: Nemesis, one of the three shades in the collection, is absolutely perfect for fall. It’s a deep purple with hints of red. It’s a color I’ve been searching for a long time and it hits all the right notes. The color can easily be built up; one coat achieves a deep red, but two coats achieve a more purple hue.
