Now this is something to sing about!

On a morning that sparkled like rhinestones, Raising Cane’s took the spotlight in Nashville and pulled back the curtains in Music City to reveal an incredible one-of-a-kind flagship restaurant on iconic Broadway.

The day hit the high notes and carried the tune with gorgeous harmony. Before a crowd of hundreds the legendary entrepreneur Todd Graves and his family cut the ribbon to open doors at 212 Broadway. Just step away from music institutions such as Tootsies Orchid Lounge and the classic Robert’s Western World, the CEO and founder made his own history by becoming the first and only quick service restaurant on Nashville’s Lower Broadway.

“When I think about this street it makes me think of people going for their dreams,” Graves said before cutting the red ribbon alongside a proud team of co-workers and of course his trusty mascot and beloved dog sidekick. As the confetti cannon shot streamers and a colorful gush into the Nashville sky loud applause filled ears and eyes with pure bliss that dazzled. It signaled another dream coming true.

Taking over the historic Baxter Building, country music and Cane’s Chicken Finger meals became the most craveable combination on the landmark street on June 26. Perhaps it is the secret sauce or the beautiful and captivating principle of ONE LOVE®, but it the moment all together sizzled with glory.

Hundreds stood in line to capture a piece of the day that was about so much more than chicken in a basket. It was a delicious way to celebrate what for many was a sense of growing up and growing together with one of the nation’s fastest-growing restaurant brands.

The famous brand that showcases a label of bold colors of red, yellow and white saturated deeply into the mindset of cheering fans who came from across America. Speaking to two Raising Cane’s lovers named Karlien and Hannah waiting first in line for doors to open, they explained to us why starting at 3:30 a.m. in the morning was important and not something they would miss. They had gone to college in Texas and now living in Nashville they were pleased to see the expansion to Broadway.

Another patron named Nick stood in line and hailed from Boston and was so thrilled to be one of the premiere customers in the door he wore a t-shirt to perfectly reflect on the day that red “First 100.” All the patrons on this day were full with joy. Seeing the public come in at 10:00 a.m. and receiving commemorative hats brought smiles to face and even some were part of “Lucky 20” drawing that awarded a customer free Cane’s for a year. Talk about the old “winner winner chicken dinner” getting a fabulous modern twist.

Inside the party continued in epic style where customers saw for the first time the stunning custom-themed flagship restaurant which pays homage to country music legends with signature city-inspired flair from local artists and designers such as Hatch Show Print Shop, Ranger Stitch, James Willis, and more.

Boasting features that captivated the imagination, guests were excited to see such highlights as a wall with a colorful horse riding cowboy made with an impressive 1.2 million rhinestones; a Johnny and June Cash tribute booth for the perfect Nashville photo-moment; and a Loretta Lynn signed sequin top and one of her prized guitars. Customers also noticed a hanging art installation from internationally-renowned perceptual artist Michael Murphy, who used 75 individual steel pieces of various designs to create a three-dimensional number “one” and “heart,” in honor of Cane’s ONE LOVE®. Over 250 disco balls hang throughout the restaurant as a nod to Raising Cane’s first Restaurant, where Graves hung a disco ball to cover a skylight, becoming a design element in every restaurant since.

The Nashville Flagship Restaurant is open from 10 to 2 a.m. Sunday through Saturday for lunch, to satisfy those late-night Chicken Finger cravings. In addition to dine-in and carry- out options, customers will have a whole new way to get “sauced” on Broadway when they order Chicken Fingers and Cane’s Sauce, served alongside buttery Cane’s toast, crispy crinkle-cut fries, crunch coleslaw, and choice of freshly squeezed lemonade or other beverage online or via the Cane’s mobile app for order ahead and quick and easy pick-up.

Be sure to get a taste of the American dream come true and visit when in Nashville. Stay in the know on all things Raising Cane’s by following @RaisingCanes on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
