Priyanka Chopra, Viola Davis, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Taraji P. Henson and Olivia Wilde honored at Elle’s 5th Annual Women in TV Celebration.
Elle’s annual celebration honors groundbreaking women in the television industry. Honorees are also featured on the magazine’s February Women in Television issue cover. The event was held at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood on Jan. 20 presented by Hearts on Fire Diamonds and Olay.
Editor in Chief Robbie Myers hosted the event and kicked off the night toasting all of the women honored this year. She went on to recite an excerpt from Shonda Rhimes’ memoir The Year of Yes where Rhimes brings notice to women’s tendency to deflect attention from compliments and accolades. Myers urged all of the women at the event to not only celebrate their success but each other’s success as well.
