This week’s episode of Power Book IV: Force is a family affair of trouble.
That is because Walter Flynn is running the house exactly how a game of chess is. He is the one who setup Gloria’s death and Vic and Claudia are believing every word. They are both convinced that Tommy Egan had something to do with Gloria’s death. Even after Tommy told Claudia that he was not, the Flynn Family is still targeting him. Walter has this under control so much that his Four Horsemen arrived from Ireland to join the war.
Speaking of the war, Tommy is trying to build his army. We are near the conclusion of the first season of Power Book IV: Force so time is not doing well for Tommy. Especially since JD finally learns that D-Mac is his son. Too bad that he learned that while D-Mac is in the hospital fighting for his life. At least Tommy finally got help from Mirković as he loaned Egan an army for the small cost of $2 million dollars!
I am also interested in seeing where this subplot between Diamond and Jenard is going. Now that D-Mac and Marshall went to see Buddy behind Jenard’s back, Jenard is not going to be happy. But Diamond is also not happy upon learning that Jenard turned his back on him.
These ongoing stories is going to climax at the season finale. This episode got me engaged to see what is coming next for everyone. Also, Tommy Flanagan continues to shine with his line delivery and mannerisms that reminded me of Clay Morrow from Sons of Anarchy! Just like on that show, Vic and Walter’s relationship is estranged over different values. If this season ends with Vic putting down Walter, I can say for sure that it will be satisfying!
