This Week’s episode of Power Book IV: Force is the best of the season so far.
Everything that was being built on these last few episodes resulted in a good payoff. Tommy Egan taking Claudia under his wing, Gloria shooting back during the drive by attempt, Vic standing his ground, and Liliana being a badass, there was a ton of character development!
I will not forget Jenard and Diamond. I have a feeling that these two will have a big falling out by the end of the season. Jenard has been interesting in the last few episodes so I am wondering where his motives will lead him to. Diamond may have meet his new fling, but she is on to him since she is a crime journalist. D-Mac also found out that JP and Tommy are related. Now that he knows this, what will D-Mac do next?
The product that Claudia produced could be detrimental to her demise if it gets in the wrong hands. If that happens, the Flynn family could begin a war with all of the rival gangs over her and the Chicago pipeline. It has turned into the central sub-plot of the season and if this ends up to only one person controlling the pipeline, you can bet on who will be the sole owner.
Claudia has transformed into a cold blooded killer thanks to Tommy Egan. Her character development has been excellent as she is learning so much and coming so far. This episode was very enjoyable. Walter finally did something for once in that episode. Before the episode he had mostly shown me what a weak boss he is. But the final scene showed why he’s the boss, goofing off and showing why he’s the boss. Mirkovic, everyone is coming for you!
