Filmmaker Pierre Rehov paints a bloody and visceral portrait of the atrocities that are currently ensuing in the Middle East.
It lays down the foundation for a beautiful yet frightening portrait of what has happened and what is to come from anti-Jewish sentiment and Jihadists.
Understand that when I write this review I do not know the full story and I am not as well-read on the subject as the filmmakers are, but I say all of this to make the world a brighter and more hopeful place, praying that one day these atrocities will come to a close.
Director Rehov has a lot to be proud of in the fact that he was able to craft a magnificent documentary bringing awareness to these terrifying occurrences of hate and bigotry from Neo-Nazis, Jihadists and other extremists beyond that of the Middle East.
It breaks my heart knowing that this Anti-Jewish sentiment exists as it has the goal of decimating all Jews and working in the same ideology as Adolf Hitler during World War II.
I’m just happy that a film like this has made its way to the hearts and minds of Americans and can be seen and appreciated if only for building awareness to the nightmares that have occurred outside of our own country. Staying ignorant is blissful but being aware of what’s outside your backyard is very important.
