Every generation has a prolific voice that echoes in the hearts and minds of listeners. It gives them direction and a sense of purpose.
Isabelle Fries is that one in a million whose principled artistry has made her paramount to shaping humans into people who care.
The young singer’s passion for music is captivating not only for being regarded for creating a body of work that is highly regarded in the industry, but also for helping positively shift the mindset of fans. Fries’ music is not that of a pop princess icon nor even of an underground hardcore movement that obscurely only reaches out to a small niche group. She’s a musician for everyone’s tastes universally because her sound is formulated from a truthful place.
Hit songs like the catchy song “Just a Dreamer” and the sweet melody of “Shine Through the Rain” have amassed millions of YouTube views. Now her new single “Scrapbook” is making waves with a touching tribute to the power of self-discovery.
To listen to Fries resonates with a harmonious vision of peace and love. She’s truly got the whole world in her hands, and it shows when she belts out notes. Her presence is outstanding when she performs as well as when she lovingly gazes at a camera shooting her. Her eyes are a gateway to the soul of a young songbird who has a melody meant for uplifting joy – the thing that we need more than ever today in 2022.
Since a young girl, Fries has made it a point to use her art to move people to want to do good. When you sit and talk to her you get happy knowing that she wants to be a musician for all the right reasons. As an artist who is the next “big thing” she has uniquely evolved from more than just the popularity contest in the industry. The definition of a true artist is one who cares about more than themselves – an artist gives and gives. That is her simply put.
You must be a philanthropist and passionately believe that your artistry can make a sincere difference in the world. This is the evolution of the modern-day singing sensation that Fries brings to life. Even her life off the stage is a daily dedication to her principles as she has spent most of her life keeping busy volunteering and even launched a non-profit foundation.
The Bulamu Community Foundation she set up has since day one brought out curriculums focusing on sports and music to Ugandan schools all while helping promote healthy living and the importance of education. She is also a board member and youth leader for Global Living Institute in Uganda which advocates the prevention of HIV and AIDS. to increase HIV awareness and give medical care.
Fries even once played for over 20,000 people in rural Uganda with musicians all around the world as part of iKnow Concerts in the fall of 2017. It has all been a part of her journey which has led to where she is today. Emerging as a top talent in the music industry was inevitable, especially as her presence on stage and in the public eye grew. Yet, she never shied away from her true mission. Even today she is busy as a middle school special education teacher in Denver all while going back and forth between laying new tracks for her next album.
When asked what she sees as her new frontier, Fries simply states her new work. “I think it’s really just about wanting to love the people in your life and wanting to support and nurture and help build them up.”
As she pursues her next professional venture, the bold prediction and declaration is that when her new music comes out it will be as dreamy and momentous as her mission to make mankind more aware and gentler.
Her relevance is clear and capitalizes on a star that is just beginning to shine ever so brightly. As she was once quoted, “I am not in this industry for fame, recognition or money. I am in it because music is my love and that is what keeps me sane throughout the crazy ups and downs of the music industry.”
