On Thursday, September 10, NYLON set off New York Fashion Week with the second annual Rebel Fashion private party at Up & Down.
The rain didn’t stop the party. Nylon partnered up with COOLS and celebrated the September cover; the event featured a men and women’s presentation from designer WeDu, it incorporated bold colors and oversized jackets. The two floor party had DJ’s Jasmine Chess, Chelsea Leyland, Va$htie and Alex Winston playing Rhianna and reggae selections all night . Guests danced, and mingled sipping on Stella Artois and/or Svedka. Gift bags were filled with a Lyft free lift pass, and Frends headphones. Clinque’s brought out their Chubby Stick lip balm.
Celebrity and VIP attendees included famous personalities such as Karrueche Tran, Randy Jackson, Jackie Cruz, Selenis Leyva, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth. Other guests took pictures at the Clinique Face Forward photo booth and previewed the extensive Waterford Rebel collection, which redefines gifting for a new generation including metal giftware, travel accessories and striking, bold jewelry. Later on in the evening, Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas joined the party and stayed happily cuddled up next to the DJ booth for the majority of the evening where Justin Timberlake, Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio, Nick Jonas, The Weeknd, Nicky Hilton and Lewis Hamilton joined them partying into the early hours of the morning.
