Last week, we attended RYU Williamsburg’s grand opening.
RYU is an “urban athletic apparel brand” whose initials stand for Respect Your Universe. This year RYU celebrated their third anniversary, after openings its first store almost three years ago in Kitsilano, Vancouver. With its core principles paving the way for this lifestyle brand, RYU embraces facilitating human performance and helping multi-faceted/multi-dimensional people achieve their goals. In addition to the brick & mortar stores, RYU has also fostered a thriving online community of active customers through their social media campaigns blogs.
RYU kicked off their flagship opening with a party, free food and complimentary 50$ gift cards to everyone who attended. In addition to the gift card and food, complimentary drinks were served and BLKIDTWINS DJ-ed the lovely function. The room was filled with models sporting the newest and exclusive RYU wear.
The after party was held at the Williamsburg Hotel and this portion of the evening was DJed by New York’s beloved ODalys and Pauli the PSM. Make sure to check out RYU’s flagship at 76 N 4th Street, in the heart of Williamsburg.
