H&M partnered with Rockaway Summer Magazine to present their summer collections on June 18,2015.
The event was held at the relaxed Diviera Drive, an Italian Eatery in Williamsburg. DJ Tony Everett set the mood with the perfect summer music along with fellow DJ Atlanta de Cadenet Taylor. Artist Tali Lennox, who wore H&M, did live illustrations for all the guests. Other guests included Amirah Kassem (founder of Flour Shop), Sissi Hou (model), David Thielebeule (Style Director for WSJ), Andrew Bevan (Teen Vogue’s Style Director), and Mona Johannesson (Swedish model). Inside the restaurant, the DJ played music and bite size pizzas and bowls of French fries were being served along with an assortment of cocktails and wine.
Outside, H&M models were perched on a small life size boat alongside the summer collection. As guests made their way over to the collection, some people even wanted to buy things on the spot. The collection is perfect for the summer with loose fits and bright prints and consisted of both men and women along with kids. Particularly covet worthy are the Floral print shorts and shirts for the guys and the dark jersey print dress for women. For more adorable options, check out the black and white floral onesie for babies. Diviera Drive was perfect for a beach party and set the tone for the summer collection that was inspired by Queen’s very own Rockaway Beach. Check out the collection, which is in stores now!
