On Tuesday, September 24th, DuJour magazine hosted a party for their October cover star Justin Hartley at the bar Vandal in downtown NYC.

Hartley is one of the stars of the Emmy Award-winning drama This is Us. Since 2016 he has played Kevin Pearson and has received countless nominations for his role. Hartley is also known for his work on The Young and the Restless, Smallville and most recently A Bad Mom’s Christmas.

In this issue of DuJour, Hartley reflects on his time on This is Usand how it changed his life. He also talks about fame and his hope that people view him as dedicated and family-oriented like his character Kevin. Hartley also expresses that the most important thing to him is his 15-year-old daughter Isabella.

As the evening began, guests, press and celebrities alike poured into Vandal in anticipation of Hartley’s arrival. The room quickly became filled with people socializing and taking photos. As the evening carried on, Hartey slipped into the crowd accompanied by DuJourfounder Jason Binn. Hartley graciously took photos with a few fans and answered a few questions from the press.

Throughout the night, the energy in the room was high. Tuesday was also the premiere of This is Us season 4, as well as, the night Hartley’s appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon aired.

This is Us is now airing on every Tuesday night at 9 p.m. on NBC and DuJour’s feature on Hartley is available on their app in the fall 2019 magazine section, as well as on their website.
