Big Kill is a unique movie especially in today’s movie world because you don’t see many Western genre films hitting the screens. Big Kill takes the audience through a journey of classic Western mishaps and conflicts all while following the journey of Jim, an accountant from Philadelphia, as he navigates his way through the West in order to find his brother who sent him letters about a “booming” town called Big Kill. Jim is joined by Jake and Travis, two Westerners who seem to have rubbed a lot of people the wrong way throughout their lives, causing them to always encounter some type of conflict. Once they arrive at Big Kill their biggest problem to date arises. A killer priest seems to run the town of Big Kill and makes ends meet by his own accordance, and something about Jim, Jake, and Travis doesn’t sit well with him. Big Kill has many twists and turns throughout the movie that will definitely keep the audience trying to figure out what happens with all the characters.
After the screening, guests attended the after party celebration at Stella Barra Pizzeria, where multitudes of pizza were served accompanied by never-ending glasses of wine. Everyone in attendance enjoyed the ambiance of a movie heavily anticipated by all who were a part of it and were able to cheer the release of such a huge project.
