On August 1st, The Knockturnal was at the 5th Annual Full Moon Festival presented by Matte Projects and sponsored by Bombay Sapphire Gin at the Brooklyn Mirage in east Williamsburg.
To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the festival, the lineup included performances by Penn Badgley of Mothxr, Yelle, Tensnake, The Deep, Rufus du Sol, Wolf + lams. Other performers included Soul Clap, Oliver Nelson, Pillowtalk, JDH & Dave P, Nick Monaco, The Kite String Tangle, No Regular Play, Life On Planets, Slow hands, and Navid Izadi.
The venue was transformed into a tropical mirage with 20-foot high living walls, palm trees, and real sand from the South of France. The event gathered an eclectic mix of over 5,000 music, fashion and lifestyle influencers. An exuberant oasis in the middle of New York City with both indoor and outdoor spaces, the pop-up allowed guests to enjoy views of the Manhattan skyline, and enjoy a live music experience like no other.
The Moonlight Haven also kept the music-lovers refreshed with specialty Bombay Sapphire gin-infused popsicles along with additional craft concoctions created by TasteArtNYC Founder and Mixologist Warren Hode. Everyone enjoyed the spiked juice popsicles as they became the most popular accessory of the evening.
