On February 27th A- WA performed a few songs off their new album at the Top of the Standard.
The sister trio lit up the overcrowded room and instantly changed the vibe with their unique sound; a mix of Yemenite folk music, electronic dance music, and Hip Hop. The group is known for their song “Habib Galbraith,” which is the first Arabic sung song to rank number one on Israel’s pop charts. With such an accomplishment, fans are dying to hear and see more from the captivating group as they rise to fame on a global scale.
Liron, Tair and Tagel Haim will be dropping their album, BAYTI FI RASI (“my home is in my head”) on May 31st. “The whole album was inspired by our grandma,” the band revealed on stage.” The ladies gave fans a taste of what to expect on the album prior to the concert with the release of the cinematic video for their song “Mudbira.”
