We spoke with Dylan about the collaboration with Tabasco and his inspiration behind Catch N’ Ice Cream. He shares that “something interesting about spicy food is that it cools down your body and similar to ice cream that’s a cold thing, giving you that refreshing summer feeling.” They wanted a challenge and found a way to marry the two together but needed a way to make sure it was good and did so by working together to discover that. “We’ve only been opened a year and Tabasco is a 150 year old company, making this a crazy best of both worlds experience, where both have been able to learn from each other.”
Dylan started his journey making videos online while working at an ice cream shop and after dedication and consistency his social media presence increased. He quit his job at the ice cream shop, traveled and learned more about the business while sharing it with his social media family along the way. He shares that “all this started by me goofing around during the lockdown and now I have 11 million on TikTok and 5 million on YouTube. The foundation is creating videos and it all took off from there because of that community. The ice cream shop became a way to gift my audience back for all their support and engagement – It’s all about me connecting with my audience.”
