OK! Magazine’s SO SEXY – LA event was Wednesday, May 18th at Skybar at Mondrian.
OK! Magazine, the world’s leading celebrity magazine presented its highly-anticipated annual ‘SO SEXY’ event in Los Angeles, toasting the city’s sexiest celebrities of 2016 and LA’s most-glamorous at Skybar at Mondrian.
Jules was on the Scene for The Knockturnal on Wednesday night celebrating all that is ‘So Sexy’ at Skybar at the Mondrian that included a red carpet with Hollywood notables among the sexiest celebrities of 2016! Jules was there to find out who/what’s the next big thing in LA!
What we couldn’t miss in the set up was the beauty booth and a braid bar, so either before or after the red carpet – I got my hair braided as soon as I walked in! And then off to the photo both featuring sponsors OGX, Pure Silk, Perverse Sunglasses and L.A. Girl.
The Perverse Sunglasses were giving out sunglasses to all the guests who made a social media shout @perversesunglasses and looked cool in the pool. I have to say sunglasses at night are in again! I love that movement, and will keep wearing it! It’s the thing to do in LA – apparently! Got compliments on my sunnies the next day, and everyone loves the style!
It was indeed a sexy event that counted with the presence of actress Tara Reid from American Pie, Michael Traynor from Walking Dead, Actors Jacob Young and Rome Flynn from The Bold and the Beautiful arrived together to celebrate the night. More notables include Eva Marcille and the cast of Real Husbands of Hollywood, Gloria Govan from Basketball Wives LA, Farrah Abraham (Teen Mom) and boyfriend Simon Saran, director Albert Lopez, Luka Cecconi, Monty Geer from MTV’s Awkward, cast of WAGS: Sophia Pierson, Olivia Pierson, Natalie Halcro and Barbie Blank, E! Dash Dolls, LA Clippers Dance Squad, Shah’s of Sunset, and other TV personalities, such as moi (Jules Joy aka Julia Melim)!
Guests mingled by the pool, danced to the sexy tunes by DJ Tony Martinez and of course Star of E!’s Rich Kids of Beverly Hills Johnny Drubel who was the guest DJ spinning some fresh tunes.
Skybar is a bar with a view, where you can be at the dance floor overlooking the scene, while guests enjoyed complimentary cocktails catered to the special occasion. Cocktails provided by Three Olives, Sparkling wine by Freixnet, and wines by Bartenura and Myx Moscato. Beer was provided by Heineken.
It was a night full of sexy people at a fantastic location with a beautiful view and perfect setting – that’s only your backyard when you live in Hollywood! Sexy LA!
