On Feb. 11, the star-studded music video “Oh What a Dream We Had” premiered at Docks Off Fifth in Midtown. Hundreds gathered at the soiree that pay tribute to the cause Prevent Cancer Foundation.

The charity single, which features Billy Ray Cyrus, Noah Cyrus, Braison Cyrus, Billy Idol, Il Divo, Kimbra, Richard Marx, Lara Fabian, Michal David, Lauri Ylönen, Marcelito Pomoy, and the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra was played after moving speeches and during the lively affair that brought out numerous supporters and advocates. The emotional highlight was heartfelt and brought the audience together for a powerful message of hope and resilience.

The song was a mix of genres mingled with lovely performances that were meant to uplift and inspire much-needed hope for a better future. It was truly a night to remember as the grand moments were filled with powerful performances, sweet moments, and beautiful tributes.

The incredible guest list included Actress Vivica A. Fox, Il Divo’s David Miller and Stephen LaBrie, Meredith Marks of the “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” “My Unorthodox Life’s” Julia Haart, and more.

From the star-studded red carpet to the electric dance floor, where Vivica A. Fox, Meredith Marks, and Il Divo kept the energy going, the event was nothing short of spectacular.

The song was originally composed by Michal David, features lyrics by Charlie Midnight and is produced by both Charlie Midnight and Jan Fairchild. Reimagined as a powerful anthem of hope and resilience.

This initiative aims to unite listeners in the global fight against cancer. This project is deeply personal to Michal David, who dedicates it to his late daughter, Michelle, who lost her battle with leukemia at the age of nine. Now, “Oh What a Dream We Had” stands as a touching tribute and a rallying call for cancer prevention and early detection. The logo for the project was created by singer Karin Ann. Ladislav Vajdicka from Billion Streams Entertainment is also an executive producer on the “Oh What a Dream We Had” project.

A significant portion of the proceeds will go to the Prevent Cancer Foundation (a small percentage will be allocated to cover project expenses), which is a U.S.-based nonprofit dedicated to saving lives through cancer prevention and early detection. Since 1985, the foundation has championed research, education, and advocacy efforts, ensuring that cancer is both preventable and beatable.

The music video premiere was more than just a party – it was to support a wonderful cause, especially during a poignant time. February is National Cancer Prevention Month. According to the National Institutes of Health, nearly 1.9 million people are diagnosed with cancer each year in the United States. Nearly half of those diagnoses are breast, prostate, lung, pancreas, or colon cancers. And yet, more than 40 percent of all cancer diagnoses can be linked to a preventable cause – nearly half. The time is now to support and bring forth change like these wonderful and dedicated musicians.
