Moët & Chandon launched their new advertising campaign and film The Now at a party in New York City.
The brand celebrated at Mr. Purple, the new rooftop and nightlife space at Scott Gerber’s Hotel Indigo which opens later this month, with everything themed around the thrill of living. The cast and guests such as Patrick Janelle, Sophie Simmons, Jessica Henriquez, Brandon Sun, Timo Weiland, Alessandro Mele and Adam Calder danced through the night to DJ May Kwok.
We Are From L.A., comprised of Clement Durou and Pierre Dupaquier, served as the guests of honor having created the concept for the video. The L.A. based French duo and Grammy winners were also behind Pharrel’s “Happy” music video.
The Now depicts several scenes of embracing the thrill of living. From partying in the street, at a pool party and on the beach in the early morning, the film creates a joyous scene of embracing the moment. With a wonderfully soft pause in the middle of the video with a man playing piano in the ocean, the film transitions to party of extreme proportions. Countless balloons and chandelier riding ensue while all are enjoying the brand’s champagne. The video is accompanied by the hashtag #OpenTheNow.
The video is now available to view on Moët & Chandon’s youtube channel.
Mr. Purple is a the brand new (and not yet opened to the public) rooftop bar on the fifteenth floor of the Hotel Indigo on the lower east side. Guests were treated to a look at the amazing new rooftop space on the top floor of the Hotel Indigo as they mingled with the cast and crew behind the film. Because it was a Moët & Chandon party there was plenty of champagne flowing, and the revelers didn’t let a little rain keep them from enjoying the outdoor heated pool on the terrace.
Additional sighting: This week marked the opening of Sparkle and Shine Darling, a new retail boutique and event venue in Miami Beach.
