Crafted from agaves sourced across all five states within the Denomination of Origin, the expression highlights how terroir influences agave flavor through soil, climate, and elevation. Guests joined Maestra Tequilera Ana María Romero for an intimate guided tasting and discussion on the artistry behind the liquid, while enjoying traditional Mexican bites and lively conversation that reflected Mijenta’s continued dedication to innovation in tequila.
A true exploration of terroir in tequila, Mijenta Maestra Selection No. 2 is produced from agaves sourced from each of the five states where tequila can legally be produced, and then masterfully blended, resulting in a spirit that’s extremely rich, silky, and complex. With the second annual release in Mijenta’s Maestra Selection Series, this bottling serves as a platform for Maestra Tequilera Ana María Romero to explore the vast possibilities in tequila innovation.
