In the front of the modern Miami Design District sits a tropical-themed cafe called Pura Vida. Pura Vida welcomes you with a lavish tropical and blue-themed setting, with green plants at every corner and wooden decor. Pura Vida, which means “pure life” in English, gives the saying a meaning not only with the decor but the dishes served and the excellent customer service the cafe provides.
Omer and Jennifer Horev created Pura Vida as an extension of their own menu at home and a mix of their travels. As a former real estate agent Omer has knowledge of the South Florida market and knows what investments are in line with what Pura Vida is and Jennifer has helped him with a recreated menu for all to enjoy. They strive to use local and organic ingredients and high-quality proteins to feed all of South Florida. With a variety of food, they have become a hub for the wellness community.
The cafe has not stopped growing and has become a way of life. Their menu is filled with healthy dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner so people can go anytime they please and have the option of vegan or gluten-free meals. In addition to food, they also sell smoothies that can help with the South Florida heat.
Pura Vida is not only a cafe but also helps many Floridians with careers. They are also super conscious of being eco-friendly which goes perfectly on brand with their aesthetic. They do their part by composting food waste, donating soil to farms located in Miami and partnering up with organizations to plan Beach cleanups.
Pura Vida has expanded all over South Florida with 14 locations including Doral and Miami Design District. Pura Vida also expanded overseas to Qatar, with its debut on November 2023.
