Miami Art Week Bashes

Fun in the sun was had by the art world this month

Miami Art Week painted a picture this week splashed with fun that spurred from the wildest parts of the imagination.

Delilah Miami drew a packed crowd on Dec. 5 for a special Art Week celebration featuring an exclusive performance by iconic rapper Ja Rule.

As one of Miami’s most glamorous, award-winning supper clubs, Delilah welcomed guests with its Roaring ’20s–inspired interiors, creative cocktails, Latin-infused dishes by Chef Mitchell Hesse and an atmosphere perfectly suited for Art Week’s signature excitement and style.

Guests sang along to favorites like “Livin’ It Up” and “Always on Time” as Ja Rule took the stage. Throughout the night, attendees indulged in Delilah classics, sipped bespoke cocktails, and soaked in the unmatched mix of music, artistry and Miami nightlife that helped define one of the weekend’s standout moments.

SWAGGER Magazine’s Miami Art Week 2025 Creators Gala — presented in partnership with Twenty35 Agency, Nighttrain Entertainment, Jane Owen Public Relations (JOPR), and ZOOZ Group — opened Miami Art Week with spectacular force as an elite crowd of artists, creators, celebrities, and cultural leaders filled the iconic One Ocean South residence in Miami Beach’s exclusive South Pointe enclave on Dec. 4..

A central highlight of the evening was the presence of Amanza Smith, the multi-hyphenate creative and beloved star of Netflix’s global hit Selling Sunset, who hosted the gala while unveiling a curated installation of her newest artwork. Smith, long admired for her dynamic career across modeling, acting, interior design, luxury real estate, and motivational speaking, has recently emerged as a formidable contemporary visual artist. Her ascent in the art world accelerated earlier this year with her European debut at Grove Gallery in London, where her exhibition “404: Humanity Not Found” explored identity, resilience, digital-age disconnection, and the human instinct to rebuild. Marked by bold color palettes, graphic tension, and emotional vulnerability, the works were praised as raw, resonant, and reflective of today’s emotional landscape.

At the Creators Gala, Smith presented her latest evolution as an artist with a selection of new works, marking the first time she has ever showcased her art during Art Miami. The installation created a direct line from her sold-out exhibitions at MASH Gallery Los Angeles and Grove Gallery London to Miami’s globally influential art scene, positioning her as a rising artistic voice whose work bridges design, culture, and deeply personal narrative.

“Peace of New York,” an immersive Clique Dinner experience on Dec. 5 brought a multisensory celebration of food, culture and community to The Gates Hotel South Beach. Hosted by New York-born creative Julius Antwi, the evening featured a multicourse menu with wine pairings curated by Chef Pierre Serrão (“Chef P”), co-founder of Bronx-born culinary collective Ghetto Gastro and a leader in Caribbean-inspired culinary innovation through Black Star Barbados.

The event will also featured a digital art showcase from Black is Beautiful, a Web3 production studio special guest Ja Rule  helped establish as a founding collaborator. The night also included a live performance by Brooklyn singer Nali.
