Internationally renowned dancer and choreographer Maria Caruso will bring her new solo show, Incarnation, to London’s prestigious Theatre Royal Drury Lane on October 2-3, 2024. Known for its rich history, the 360-year-old theater, located in the heart of the West End, has long been a cultural cornerstone and is set to host another monumental performance with Caruso’s debut.

Caruso’s previous work, Metamorphosis, captivated audiences in New York, London, and beyond, and is now available on Amazon Prime and other platforms. After taking a two-year break to explore film and television, Caruso returns to the stage, driven by her desire to continue impacting lives through her art.

Incarnation expands on the themes of Metamorphosis, telling a deeper story through dance and narrative, backed by a score from rising composer Ryan Onestak. Caruso’s performance embodies a message of resilience, focusing on how individual choices can influence personal and collective journeys. “Bad things happen to good people, but we have the power to choose our path,” Caruso said, reflecting on the show’s central theme.

Collaborating closely with Onestak, Caruso has been developing Incarnation at her Bodiography studios in Squirrel Hill, where Metamorphosis was also born. The show’s concept emerged from post-performance conversations with audiences, inspiring Caruso to dive deeper into her story.
