Livari is a zero waste womenswear label that is made in New York. Sometimes it feels like we’re in an age where it’s so ‘rare’ to find both sustainable and ethical clothing. Well, Livari have definitely contradicted this notion with their refined pieces featuring raw materials and craftsmanship. Last night Livari launched three exciting new collaborations with Elvis & Kresse, Simply straws and Oka-B. Profits from each collaboration goes towards various charities drawing parallel to their foundation of ethical and sustainable fashion. The items featured within these collaborations include re-purposed raw material clutches to sustainable straw carriers with the Livari aesthetic engraved into each design.
The brand itself is a collaboration between three divine women who are passionate about ethical causes, Alysia Reiner (Orange Is The New Black, Equity), Claudine DeSola (Caravan Stylist Studio) & Tabitha St. Bernard-Jacobs (Tabii Just, Women’s March). The women represent change, dedication and empowerment. Many of the fabrics the brand utilizes are re-purposed through teaming up with textile manufactures to ensure excess fabric does not end up in landfills. Just when you think this dream team have thought of it all they also work with a carbon reduction organization to reduce their carbon footprint.
