T-Pain finally released the project he worked on with Lil Wayne over a decade ago.
Back in the mid 2000s, the singer and rapper got together under the new nickname “T-Wayne” to create a handful of songs that never got released. On Wednesday, T-Pain teased the project’s release on twitter, tweeting “Do it? #TWayne” and “This ain’t for y’all new n****s. These the lost files from ’09 and I’m tired of em just sitting on my hard drive. #FreeC5”. T-Pain and Wayne had several collaborative tracks a few years back such as “Got Money” on Tha Carter III and “Can’t Believe It” on Thr33 Ringz. Both Wayne and T-Pain have said that they connect and their energies match well enough for them to produce great music.
T-Pain has just released their collaborative project, filled with 8 brand new tracks. The project was released this Thursday, on SoundCloud and Youtube. You can listen to the new mixtape below. As for Wayne, there have been countless rumors of the coming of his next project, Tha Carter V, which has been long a waited for months.
