Lil Wayne relaunched his clothing line, TrukFit.
Lil Wayne hosted a relaunch party at LIV, a hot night club, in Miami on January 17 for his clothing line, TRUCKFIT, and later made an appearance at Agenda Miami on January 19. TRUKFIT which stands for “The Reason You Kill For It” initially was launched in 2012. The clothing line was originally created for skaters like Lil Wayne, with some of the clothes being colorful with skateboarder avatars and quotes on the t-shirts. With newly added items such as bomber jackets, jogger pants and graphic t-shirts, TRUKFIT has re-established itself making more of a “streetwear” line.
According to an interview with Nice Kicks, the 33 year old rapper spoke about the relaunch for TRUKFIT stating “It’s amazing because it was just an idea. The whole clothing line. I never imagined that people would wear anything that I said was cool because everybody knows I do not know how to dress. So given that, just to see anybody throw it on is just amazing to me.” Check that interview out here.
TRUKFIT will be making an appearance at Agenda Las Vegas from February 15-17.
Next up, Wayne is headed to the Super Bowl. The MAXIM Party will be on Saturday, February 6. There will be a Bootsy Bellows pop up for VIPs and the evening will feature performances by Lil Wayne and A$AP Rocky.
